Watermelon Margarita
Serves 2 • Time 5 mins
To me, the perfect summer cocktail should make you feel like you’re lounging on a beach in the Hamptons, breeze blowing through your hair. (Even if in reality you’re sitting on your couch in front of a fan cause it’s “real feel” hotter than Satan’s asscrack outside.) Sorry!
In the quest for nailing down this perfect summer margarita recipe, we invited some friends over for dinner and started the evening by testing out 5 different recipes. This one was the winner. Like a standard margarita, it has orange liqueur, which we all decided was necessary for that classic margarita flavor. Unlike your usual margarita, there is no need for any additional sweeteners, as the fresh watermelon juice does the trick. Enjoy these over ice with a salt rim, or blended if you so desire. Feel the ocean breeze!

Notes, tips, & tricks
*You can make your own watermelon juice by blending sliced watermelon and straining the pulp over a pitcher using a fine mesh strainer/colander.
Let’s Do It
